Let’s Begin the Journey!

Hello Hobbitses! Welcome to my blog! Why “Hobbitses”? Well… Hobbits live in Hobbit holes, and “Hobbitses” is the fun Gollum version (if you don’t know who Gollum is, check out the Lord of the Rings trilogy)!

Anyways, let’s learn a little bit more about me and what I plan on doing/writing about in this blog.

I’m Emma, oldest of 7 kids! I’m a Christian, and you can go check out my About page for a few of my favorite Bible verses. My hobbies include reading (Ted Dekker and Brandon Sanderson are two of my favorite authors!), drawing (especially portraits!), painting (I haven’t done much of it though), and writing (lots and lots of unfinished stories). I also love spending time with family and friends, though I can be a hermit sometimes. I’m so excited about this blog! It’s the first time I’ve done something like this, so bear with me as I figure things out!

What to expect? Well, I’ll give some drawing tips, maybe share some life stories and some stories I’ve written, and I’ll talk about some of my interests—like books, movies, and music! Feel free to give me some ideas of what you would like to see in this blog!

I would like to thank my editor, Kaitlyn, for helping me set up this blog! I’m not sure where I’d be without her. Hasn’t she done a good job?
